Gaziantep University
Since its establishment in 1973, Gaziantep University has grown into a vibrant, multicultural, multilingual, and multi-religious global institution, welcoming over 7,000 international students from more than 100 countries. As a pioneer in international academic collaboration, Gaziantep University began its Erasmus+ activities in 2004 to actively participate in EU Education and Youth Programmes.
Our university proudly holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the 2021-2027 period, awarded by the European Commission. This charter serves as a quality framework for all European and international cooperation activities conducted within the Erasmus+ program, reinforcing our commitment to fostering global partnerships and academic excellence.
Gaziantep University is committed to transferring knowledge, science, cultural wisdom, and values beyond its borders, with a special focus on the Middle East region.
